GSR is delighted to announce the candidates for our 2021 training programmes have been selected. We are proud to support both Maria Camila León Duque from Colombia and Amina Ochora Makori from Kenya for a two-year fellowship for a Master's degree of Marine and Lacustrine Science and Management jointly organized by the Faculty of Science of the Free University of Brussels, Antwerp University and Ghent University. Iyani Inumi S. Muthukuda Arachchige from Sri Lanka will receive a fellowship for an EMerald Master Programme. The two-year programme focuses on Resources Engineering, Resource Characterisation, Processing, and Modelling and Management. Finally, Mohamed M. A. Elsaied from Egypt has been chosen for a two-week professional training course in dredging technologies organized by the Antwerp Port Training Center in Belgium. All programmes are fully funded, with GSR covering the cost of travel, accommodation and tuition. We wish the candidates all the best and look forward to their future successes.
