On 8 March, 2018, the internationally renowned journal, The Economist, published its Technology Quarterly on Ocean Technologies and Blue-sea thinking. As technology is transforming the relationship between people and the oceans, the journal addressed underwater sonar technologies, fish farming, military applications, the ocean internet and seabed mining.
